This machine is suitable for testing materials such as fabric, paper, coatings, plywood, leather, floor tiles, glass, and natural rubber. The test method involves rotating the sample, which is pressed against a pair of abrasion wheels under a specified load. As the sample rotates, it drives the abrasion wheels to wear the sample. The wear loss is calculated as the difference in weight before and after the test. The abrasion index formula is: Wear loss weight / Number of test rotations x 1000. The available wheel models are: H18, H22, CS10, CS17, CS32, and CS33.
