HF-5009A Automatic Load Weight Melt Flow Index Tester

The automatic load weight melt flow index tester is an improved version, adding many new features. It significantly improves the instrument configuration, service life, ease of operation, and testing accuracy, offering incomparable advantages and cost-effectiveness compared to conventional melt flow index testers in the market. The instrument has a desktop structure with a reasonable design, stable and reliable performance, aesthetic appearance, and easy operation. It uses high-performance, high-precision control instruments with high sampling accuracy and fast control rates. The fuzzy PID algorithm is used for constant temperature control.

Product Application: It is used to measure the melt flow rate (MFR) of various plastics and resins in a molten state. It is suitable for high melting temperature engineering plastics such as polycarbonate (PC), polysulfone (PPS), fluoroplastics, nylon, as well as lower melting temperature plastics like polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP), ABS, polyoxymethylene (POM), and polycarbonate (PC) resins. It is widely used in plastic production, plastic products, petrochemicals, as well as in relevant universities, research institutes, and inspection departments. The automatic melt indexer is suitable for the national standard "GB/T3682-2000 Method for the Measurement of Melt Mass Flow Rate and Melt Volume Flow Rate of Thermoplastic Plastics," which is equivalent to ISO 1133:1997. It also meets ASTM D1238 testing standards.
2. Product Features:
• The results measured can be automatically converted and include a melt density testing function. It has an automatic load weight loading device and provides full automation of timing, cutting material, loading, and result printing.
• The control software allows for parameter settings, constant temperature control, material cutting, calibration, automatic weight loading, timing, MFR/MVR results display, melt density calculation, and data querying/exporting. To prevent operational errors, certain critical functions require password verification.
• 7-inch full-color touchscreen with a multi-language interface (Chinese, English).
• Fast heating speed, minimal overshoot, and high constant temperature accuracy. After loading the material, it quickly restores to a stable temperature. Features include upper temperature protection, constant temperature sound alerts, and recovery time sound alerts.
• It automatically recognizes the testing intervals for ASTM, ISO, and national standards.
• When using the volume method, it can measure the MVR value for a specified test time, and after weighing the sample, it calculates the MFR value, which can be compared with mass method test results.
• The system has the ability to store test parameters, capable of storing eight sets of parameters for both mass and volume methods.
• Maximum temperature can reach 450~500°C (optional, please specify when ordering).
• Capable of long-term testing of highly corrosive plastics without compromising the instrument's precision, such as fluoroplastics (please specify when ordering), a feature unique to our company.
